Car overturns on A90

Commuters could face travel delay this morning after a car flipped onto its roof on a busy North-east road.

Police were called to the scene on the A90 at Balmedie shortly after 6am.

It is understood that no one was hurt in the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There was a temporary closure of the A90 this morning after a car had turned onto its roof. It was on the A90 southbound near Balmedie. The car has been removed and it is believed there are no injuries.”

Both lanes of the Ellon Road southbound were initially blocked but have since reopened at 6.30am.
