A north-east cancer support charity has reached a fundraising milestone of more than £14,000 after a popular supercar event.
More than 50 of the motors drove from the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa in Aberdeen to the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown and back on Sunday where they were greeted by 300 car enthusiasts.
The event, SuperCLAN, has been held since 2011 and has raised more than £73,000 for CLAN over the years.
In turn, the organisation has helped provide free support services to north-east residents who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Ross Gatt, founder of SuperCLAN, said: “SuperCLAN was an overwhelming success this summer and to have raised £14,000 for CLAN is a great achievement.
“The event has always been well supported by members of the public, who turned out in their hundreds again this year, and we also had the largest number of requests to participate in the drive since we began, from across the country, which is very promising for the future of the event.”
This year the event was sponsored by Aston Martin Edinburgh, Cavitas Energy, Jamieson & Carry, Bairds Pharmacy, Eserve International and Ewens Of Cornhill Ltd.
