An animal charity is seeking a new home for a north-east cat after naming him the “pet of the day”.
The Scottish SPCA is appealing for an animal lover to come forward and rehome Olly the black feline who is currently at the centre in Drumoak.
Olly, who is between three to five years old, will need an owner who will “stick by him” while he readjusts to a new home.
A post on the welfare’s website stated: “Olly has sadly come back into our care after failing to settle at his new home.
“We are looking for an understanding owner who will stick by him when he inevitably goes through his adjustment period when rehomed.
“This little lad has so much love to give.He adores people and loves a snuggle.
“He settled back into cattery life well and we feel he responds well to routine, so anyone looking to rehome him will need to keep things consistent.
“Although he is a friendly chap he is extremely nervous, so we feel a quiet home with no children or other pets would give him the ideal environment to develop a bond with his new owner.”
