AN OPENING date has been set for a new burger restaurant in Aberdeen.
Byron Hamburgers will fire up the grills at its Union Square branch, located in the space vacated by Apache Spur, on December 17.
Festive diners will be able to catch Byron’s ‘Cheesemas’ specials.
These include Father Cheesemas, “the daddy of all double bacon cheeseburgers”, and Oreo cheesecake made fresh using a mere 52 Oreos per cheesecake.
North-east burger fans have been eagerly awaiting the eatery, which is the chain’s first in Scotland.
Byron Hamburgers was founded in 2007 by Tom Byng who developed the idea for the company while living in New York.
Its burgers are made from four cuts of British beef, ground fresh, cooked medium and served in a squishy bun.
Mr Byng said: “We can’t wait to fire up the grills, throw open the doors, and celebrate our arrival not only in Aberdeen, but in Scotland.”
