A section of a busy north-east slip road is to close for two days for Aberdeen bypass work.
The A90 northbound merge slip road at Stonehaven will close from 8pm on Tuesday, until 6am on Wednesday, as part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) project.
The closure will enable finishing works to be made on the slip road.
All diversions will be signposted.
Road users intending to head north from Stonehaven or from the B979 Netherley Road should travel through Stonehaven to Glasslaw Junction where they can join the A90 northbound carriageway.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: “We would like to encourage those drivers who would consider using this route overnight to plan their journey in advance.
“They should also give themselves additional travelling time so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.”
