A transport firm and a local authority have joined forces for a new bus route.
Stagecoach North Scotland launched a new Aberdeen City Council-supported bus route for Kingswells linking the community to the city centre.
Mark Whitelocks, managing director for Stagecoach North Scotland, said: “The service 14 timetable gives many options for commuting, connecting to ARI or an evening out in town and with our great value tickets available in Aberdeen it’s never been easier to visit the city by bus.”
Service 14 will operate from Monday to Saturday on a 30-minute frequency during peak times and on an hourly frequency during off-peak times. The service will connect Kingswells to ARI before serving Upperkirkgate.
Transport and regeneration spokesman Councillor Ross Grant said: “We are committed to doing all we can to ensure that our communities and residents at risk of isolation remain connected.”
