A burst pipe near a north-east town caused residents in around 100 properties to lose their water supplies.
Scottish Water has said it has located the burst water main, near the Newmachar Pumping Station and a team is onsite working on the “complex repair”.
The issue was causing some residents to have have either low pressure or no water.
However, Scottish Water now have alternative feeds in place for those affected.
A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “A team from Scottish Water were called to the area earlier today after reports of disruption to supply for customers.
“They discovered a burst main affecting around 100 properties.
“Alternative supplies have been put in place and supply restored to customers while the complex repair is carried out.
“We apologise to customers for any inconvenience and thank them for their patience.”
It is not yet known how many properties are affected.
