AN OIL tanker is causing traffic disruption after breaking down on an Aberdeen road.
The vehicle came to a stop on Great Southern heading towards West Tullos Road at around 6.50am.
Police officers were at the scene by Goals Aberdeen football pitches to help with traffic flow, but there were some tailbacks.
Police said they had hoped to get the road open by 8am, but the tanker is still on the site surrounded by cones.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Hopefully recovery won’t take too long. Nobody has phoned to say there have been delays for any length of time.”
