Broadband scheme set to benefit Aberdeen businesses

North-east businesses are being given a helping hand to upgrade their broadband connectivity.

Small and medium-sized companies in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are being urged to tap into a Government voucher scheme, which will enable them to upgrade their broadband to a Gigabit-capable connection, with up to £3,000 available.

The Gigabit voucher scheme is run by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

It was announced last year that Aberdeen was to benefit from £2 million investments by the Scottish Government to increase broadband speeds.
