Police are investigating after boy suffered a broken leg in a car crash at an Aberdeen retail park.
The four-year-old was with family at Beach Boulevard Retail Park off Links Road, at around 3pm on Sunday when the collision took place.
It is understood the boy was taken to hospital by car and doctors discovered that he had sustained a broken leg.
Now, police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
Pc David Jackson said: “Officers were made aware of an incident within a car park in the Beach Boulevard area of Aberdeen yesterday afternoon at around 3pm in which a four-year-old boy sustained injuries following a collision with a vehicle.
“He was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital where he received treatment for a broken leg.
“Inquiries are currently being carried out to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened to contact police on 101 quoting incident no. 2309 of January 7.
“Likewise, I would appeal to the owner of the vehicle involved to please get in touch.”
