Barclays customers are unable to access their online banking or use telephone banking due to a “technical hitch”.
The banking giant, which has around 24 million customers, took to social media to apologise to customers.
In a statement they said: “If you’re unable to access online banking, telephone banking, or use some features in our app, we’re sorry.
“You can still make payments and check your balance in our mobile banking app as normal.
“We’re looking into the problem now, and we’ll update you here as soon as possible.”
“Thanks for bearing with us.”
We’ve spotted a technical hitch, but don’t worry – it’s our priority to sort it.
