A scheme aiming to reward carers for their work supporting people with dementia is looking for entries from the north-east.
Scotland’s Dementia Awards, organised by Alzheimer Scotland, recognises people who have shown commitment to improving the well-being of people with dementia and their families, and those who have raised awareness of the condition.

The charity said in a statement: “Scotland’s Dementia Awards recognise what can be achieved when people work together to improve the lives of people with dementia.
“We want to hear from local communities and care professionals who are committed to enhancing the health, well-being and experience of people with dementia and their families.”
