A north-east man has been recognised for his charitable community efforts.
Mike Duncan received the Community Path Volunteer of the Year award from Scottish charity Paths for All at the Scottish Parliament.
He was awarded the title for leading the group of volunteers from Cove In Bloom to put the mile-long Cove Woodland Walk back into use.
Wendy Suttar, who nominated Mike for the award, said: “It was a very daunting task to take on but he rose to the challenge.
“Mike and his team worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life – he’s a pillar of the community.”
