An author will give a talk on two books based on Dracula and his north-east links.
Mike Shepherd will host an event next week to discuss his novel When Dracula Was Written in Cruden Bay and his new book When Brace Men Shudder: The Scottish Origins of Dracula.
It is widely believed that Slains Castle, in Cruden Bay, is the inspiration for the horror-legend Bram Stoker’s character.
Mr Shepherd will visit Ellon Library next Monday to talk through both literature pieces, and give an insight into the subject.
It is free to attend, but booking is essential in order to secure a place.
The event will run from 7.30pm until 9pm.
To reserve a place at the talk, contact Ellon Library on 01358 281071.
