
Police are looking to trace a car following thefts from a number of properties in Aberdeen.
The incidents all happened in the early hours of Saturday morning at properties on Thorngrove Crescent, Kirk Crescent, Hillview Crescent and Howes Drive.
Personal items including clothing and a bike were taken.
Officers are keen to trace a dark-coloured hatchback-type car with registration SY15 NSE.
Pc Calum Mackay said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious in these areas to contact us.
“In particular if you saw the car described please let us know.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who has private CCTV.
“Police can be contacted on 101 using reference number CF0110670518 or you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
“We have seen a recent spate of acquisitive crime in the north-east and additional patrols are being carried out however, I would continue to urge homeowners to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us.
“Pleas ensure you keep your homes and vehicles locked at all times, even if you are at home.
“Remove any valuables from your vehicles and keep valuables inside your home out of sight.”
