A search is under way for old classmates from a North-east school to come together for a reunion.
Former Peterculter Primary School pupil Peter Greig is looking for his classmates from the class of 1959.
He is planning to organise a get-together in September, but has only found six of his old comrades so far. Peter’s final primary class had 42 youngsters in it before they moved on to secondary school.
The class’ former students were all 11 at the time – which means they should be turning 70 this year.
Peter said: “I don’t think the class of ’59 has ever had a reunion, and the people I have talked to seemed very keen to have it.
“It would be very interesting to find out where everybody is and where their journey took them.”
The reunion will take place in the Heritage Centre, Peterculter.
Anyone who was in the class is asked to contact Peter by e-mail at
