
Police are appealing for a man to come forward after a serious crash in the North-east.
It happened yesterday on Peterhead’s South Road at about 2.30pm.
A woman was air lifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and remains in a serious condition.
Officers are looking to trace a man who helped both drivers following the crash, which involved a silver Renault Clio and a silver Honda Civic.
Sergeant Steve Milne from Aberdeen Road Policing said: “Witnesses are the key to understanding exactly what happened in this collision.
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward and help us.
“We are aware that a male stopped to help both drivers immediately after the crash and we would really like him, or any other witnesses to this incident, to contact us on 101.”
