The search for hillwalker Jim Robertson who went missing in the Cairngorms more than three weeks ago is continuing.
The 61-year-old from the Glasgow area was last seen at Aberdeen bus station at around 1pm on Monday, February 29.
He is thought to have stayed at the Bob Scott Bothy close to Derry Lodge on the Mar Lodge Estate.
Officers are asking hillwalkers to remain vigilant and report anything that may be able to assist in the search for Jim.
In a post on social media Jim’s daughter Lynn thanked the Braemar Mountain Rescue and others assisting for their “ongoing efforts and incredible dedication”.

Inspector Matt Smith, Police Mountain Rescue Team Leader, said: “Despite a concerted effort Jim is still missing.
“With the weather starting to improve we would ask that anyone using the hills remains alert to the fact that he is still missing.
“We would ask that they get in touch should they see anything unusual or concerning.
“Police can be contacted on 101.”
