Police are hunting for two men who ran away after crashing a stolen car in Aberdeen.
A red/burgundy Citreon C3 Picasso – registration SY13 GNP – was taken from the Spa Street area of the city at some point between 3pm on Wednesday and 4.30am on Thursday.
The vehicle was then involved in a collision at the Spa Street, Skene Street junction at around 4.30am yesterday morning with two people spotted fleeing the scene.
Rosemount Sergeant Stuart Robinson said: “The vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision at the Spa Street/Skene Street junction in Aberdeen city centre at around 4.30am on Thursday morning and two people were seen running away from the scene.

“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone entering, driving or exiting the Citreon Picasso late on Wednesday or in the early hours of Thursday.
“This information could assist us locating those responsible.
“Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number 0418 of April 4.
“To remain anonymous, information can also be given to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
