Intruders smashed their way into a north-east golf club building, sparking a police appeal.
The criminals broke a lock at the greenkeeper’s shed at Buckpool Golf Club on Barhill Road, Buckie, at around 3.45am on September 19 but fled empty handed.
“We’re looking at installing CCTV after this,” said a club spokesman.
Also in Buckie, there was an attempted break-in at Craigenroan Bar on Great Eastern Road at 10.45pm on September 17.
Number plates were stolen from a car at Crannoch Woods on September 18 and fuel was taken from High Street the same day between 12.40pm and 1.15pm.
Tools were stolen from Inchgower Building Site on Barhill Road between 5pm on September 18 and 8am on September 19.
Police said they were keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents were linked and urged witnesses to call 101.
