A rail firm has launched an appeal after crutches were found on a replacement bus.
In a tweet LNER asked any passengers who took the bus from Aberdeen to Dundee on Saturday afternoon to come forward if they left them on the coach.
Did you lose your crutches on Saturday afternoon? One of our Rail Replacement buses have found a pair left on an Aberdeen – Dundee service. Let us know so we can reunite you with them! pic.twitter.com/IbcvMRN74q

The appeal led to banter between train operators and First Aberdeen – with the city bus firm jokingly claiming their drivers have “healing superpowers”.
Our coach drivers are so good that they have healing superpowers!

Other social media users also commented on how odd an item it was to leave behind.
What a weird thing to lose hope this is returned to the owner as soon as possible

What a weird thing to lose especially if you rely on them when out and about.

The rail replacement service was in operation this weekend due to engineering works on the section of line between Stonehaven and Dundee.
