North-east rail users will see changes in their journey as services continue to suffer due to a lack of staff
Commuters leaving Aberdeen, Inverurie and Dyce to Edinburgh today will face travel disruptions.
The 9.07am from Aberdeen to Edinburgh and the 4.39pm from Dyce to Edinburgh will see three coaches instead of four due to a shortage of train crew.
The 10.38am from Inverurie to Edinburgh will be terminated at Dundee and will no longer call at Leuchars, Haymarket and Edinburgh, also due to a lack of staffing.
A spokesman for ScotRail said: “We’re sorry to our customers who have experienced disruption to their journey.
“The majority of the impact is a result of our final push to deliver the December timetable improvements which will bring faster journeys, more seats and better services for customers.”
