A film featuring a north-east actress is to be sold in high street shops after being picked up by a film company.
Aiysha Jebali of Aberdeen, stars as Rachel Jones in psychological folk horror Dogged, in what is a breakthrough role for her.
Shot in London, it follows protagonist Sam and his love interest Rachel as they uncover the sinister secrets of their island.
Directed by Richard Rowntree, the film has taken home the award of Best Horror Feature at Glasgow Horror Con and Black Sunday film festival.
The film has an official release date of July 9 but is currently available on pre-order.
Dogged is based on a short film of the same name, and it became the fourth most successful UK horror feature film to receive funding from Kickstarter in March 2016.
A crowdfunding platform raised the £14,500 necessary in only 60 days.
