An Aberdeenshire road is set to be closed today.
The Westhill to Blackburn road, known as Woggle Road, was unexpectedly closed by Aberdeenshire Council after damage to the road was discovered due to flooding earlier in the week.
The works are set to continue today, with the road being closed from 9am to 3pm.
A spokeswoman for Aberdeenshire Council said: “We can confirm the Westhill to Blackburn (Woggle Road) was closed for part of the day today and will be closed again tomorrow during the off-peak hours of 9am to 3pm.
“This is to carry out urgent drainage work following the flooding earlier this week.”
