An Aberdeenshire town is the hottest place in the UK today.
Temperatures in Inverbervie have reached 18.7C (65.66F) – the hottest in the country.
Aboyne and Dyce were also among the warmest places, reaching 18.2C (64.76F).
A Met Office spokesman said: “A lot of the UK is actually under cloud cover today but a lot of eastern Scotland has had much clearer skies which has allowed the April sunshine to bring up the heat.”
