Music fans are poised to flock to a popular Aberdeen festival in record numbers this weekend.
Organisers behind the Enjoy Music Festival said the event might even sell out ahead of this weekend.
Marketing director Mark Lenthall said: “We are set for a great weekend and we are delighted that so many people will be heading to Hazlehead Park for our biggest ever event.”
The festival – which kicks off on Friday – is running across two days for the first time since it launched in 2015.
The line-up includes bands Cast and Starsailor, while Faithless and Basement Jaxx will perform a DJ set.
Other acts include Goldie Lookin Chain, DJ James Zabeila and Dodgy’s lead singer Nigel Clark, along with Mark Morris from indie band The Bluetones, who will perform an acoustic set.
Last year saw 6,000 people flock to the festival to watch rock legends Primal Scream and top dance act Chase & Status headline the event.
And that number was almost double the previous year.
The festival has grown over the years, introducing new elements such as a variety of stages for different musical styles and a family entertainment area.
Festival organiser Russell Aitchison said: “Tickets have been going really well, but the last week has been crazy.
“The great weather has certainly made a difference.”
Met Office forecasters are predicting temperatures will hit a maximum of 16C (61F) on Friday with cloudy skies.
Saturday will see the mercury peak at 14C (57F) with overcast conditions.
During the event a number of parking restrictions will be put in place to avoid congestion.
Hazlehead Avenue will be closed between its junction with Groats Road and west of its junction with Queen’s Road from 7am on Friday until midnight on Saturday.
Cars will also be unable to park on a number of roads including Hazlehead Avenue, Groats Road and Hazledene Road from 7am on Friday until midnight on Saturday.
