Aberdeen’s Dyce Drive to close for six weeks for resurfacing works

An Aberdeen road will be closed for six weeks for resurfacing works.

Dyce Drive will be fully closed between Wellheads Drive and the A96 from Monday.

The closure forms part of ongoing construction works for the new Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), and will allow the remaining resurfacing works to take place.

Access to the airport will still be possible from Dyce Drive, with drivers diverted via the link roads at Dyce Park and Ride at Craibstone and Wellheads Drive.

The new AECC arena at Bucksburn is expected to open in 2019.

It is a joint development between Aberdeen City Council, Henry Boot Developments (HBD) and main contractor Robertson.
