Aberdeen’s Christmas village to shut as Storm Caroline hits city

Aberdeen’s Christmas Market will be closed for most of tomorrow due to Storm Caroline.

Winds up to 90mph are expected to hit the region between 6am and midnight tomorrow.


Aberdeen Inspired announced on their social media channels that the Broad Street market will be shut until 5pm for safety reasons.

A decision will be taken tomorrow afternoon on whether the village will open.

The HAAN Design Market, inside the Marischal College quad, is still set to open at 6pm.
