An Aberdeen wine bar has scooped its third award in less than two months.
Grape & Grain, on Aberdeen’s Thistle Street, was named Best Bar in the Trend Life with Style Awards.
The premises opened last September, and has since won the Best Wine Selection category in the Molson Coors Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards, and New Operator of the Year at the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) Scotland Annual Awards.
Created by businesswoman and CEO of PCL Group Jeanette Forbes, Grape & Grain was opened after the oil and gas downturn began in Aberdeen, as a way to diversify business.
Ms Forbes said: “This latest award is recognition of an incredible team effort by all the staff at Grape & Grain.
“Since launch, we have worked very hard to create a venue that Aberdeen can be proud of and it is fantastic to be recognised in this way.
“We always judge how well we are doing by the feedback from our customers, getting this award makes all the hard work worth it.”
The bar has also been nominated as one of the most stylish premises in the Scottish Style Awards, and made a list of fashionable places to be seen in Scotland, in a list compiled by the Sunday Herald.
