Aberdeen bars have been honoured at an awards ceremony.
The Best Bar None Awards saw a record 50 representatives from city venues attend to celebrate.
Best Bar None is a popular scheme under which the public can be assured the bar, pub or club they are in, as well as its staff,have met the standard to ensure a safe atmosphere.
The People’s Choice Award saw 5,968 votes cast via social media.
Unit 51 was named the winner after managing to attracting nearly 1,000 votes. The overall winners in the Pub and Independent Pub categories were The Globe and McNasty’s respectively.
Aberdeen Performing Arts/His Majesty’s Theatre received the prize for Specialist Entertainment.
The award for Hotels went to The Copthorne and the Best Use of Innovation prize went to Spin. The Best Public Health Initiative was awarded to University of Aberdeen’s Union Brew.
And Garage picked up the top accolade in the nightclubs category.
Awards in the bars and independent bars categories went to Steinhaus and Soul Bar respectively.
