Aberdeen trains hit by signalling fault

A signalling fault has caused disruption to trains in Aberdeen.

According to ScotRail’s Twitter account, delays, cancellations and revisions are to be expected on services from Aberdeen to Inverness and Inverurie.

The fault happened at Dyce train station at around 7am and resulted in 40 minute delays to services.

ScotRail have advised that valid tickets can be used on First Bus services between Aberdeen and Dyce.

Customers should also be aware of the company’s repayment scheme for delayed trains, more information can be found at ScotRail.co.uk/delay-repay.

Disruption is expected to continue until 10am, with workers now on site to fix the issue.
