Part of an Aberdeen street has been cordoned off after fascia was reported hanging from the building.
Emergency services were on scene at Papermill Gardens in Aberdeen at 7.45pm last night to try to remove the material.
The incident came as high winds battered the north-east. Firefighters were unable to remove the fascia as a result of the weather conditions and the area was cordoned off for safety reasons.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “It was some fascia that was hanging off the building, so it’s cordoned off.
“We sent one appliance and a height vehicle.
“We were unable to remove it due to the high winds.”
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the area was still cordoned off this morning.
He added: “It will be until later this morning when the fire service go back to sort it.
“We were there to make sure everything was in order and checking it was safe.”
