AN ABERDEEN city centre road will close for two weeks to allow sewer works to be carried out.
Raik Road will be shut from Monday until October 18.
The closure will start at 5am and run until 11pm on October 18.
Driving will be banned between the junctions of Poynernook Road and Palmerston Road.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be permitted.
The existing one-way restriction will not apply for the duration of this order. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during sewer connection works by Leiths, Aberdeen.
An alternative route is available via Poynernook Road and Palmerston Road.
Meanwhile, there will be a ban on parking on Crown Street from 8am on Thursday until 11pm Sunday.
The ban will be in place between its junctions with Academy Street and Affleck Street.
There will also be a restriction on Dee Place between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
This is to protect public safety when works are being carried out by City Fibre.
