
A 41-year-old man has been charged following an alleged robbery at an Aberdeen shop.
The alleged incident took place at Heathryfold Circle area of Aberdeen at around 2.25pm this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said: “A female shop worker received medical treatment following the incident but was not seriously injured.”
The man also been charged in connection with another incident at a store at Marchburn Drive which was reported at about 2.20pm. A small quantity of alcohol was allegedly stolen.
The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Beattie said: “I would like to thank those who assisted at the scene which enabled officers to take quick action.”
