A SCHOOL has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the building this morning.
The incident happened Fernielea Primary School, on Stronsay Place, at 10.38am.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two appliances to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the fire brigade described it as a “small fire in the school”.
The flames were put out before the units arrived at the scene.
