An Aberdeen road is to close to allow for BT works.
School Road in Cults will close for four days from October 22 at 8am, reopening at 5pm on October 26.
The road will be shut between its junctions with North Deeside Road and South Avenue in the northbound lane.
Vehicles that are illegally parked will be removed at the owner’s expense, according to the council.
A no waiting will be in place on the stretch between North Deeside Road and South Avenue.
Cones will be used to mark the area where the measure will be in place to show drivers the places that they are not allowed to stop.
An alternative route has been identified by council officers, using North Deeside Road, Dunmail Avenue and South Avenue.
According to the traffic order, the closure is necessary to allow for the protection of public safety during the ironworks carried out by BT Openreach in the area.
