Works to fix a sink hole on a busy Aberdeen road have been completed and the roads is set to reopen tomorrow
A section of Skene Square, between Maberly Street and Hutcheon Street, is closed heading northbound while engineers try to fix the road.
The council originally said it expected the route to be partially closed until today after a burst water main caused the problem.
But repairs have now been completed, and the road will reopen at 5am tomorrow
Until then, motorists have been urged to avoid the surrounding areas as traffic is likely to be busy.
A number of buses have also been rerouted.
These include Stagecoach numbers 37, 10, 35, X18 and 59. First’s service 12 will be diverting via Maberly Street, George Street and Hutcheon Street.
