Part of a busy road is set to temporarily close for two days to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
Countesswells Road will be shut to traffic between the access to Ben Reid Garden Centre and the access to Robert Gordon’s College playing fields.
The restriction will be in place from 9am next Thursday until 10pm next Saturday.
The measure is necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works by housebuilder Dandara.
An alternative route is available via Springfield Road and Craigton Road.
Construction is now complete on the first phase of the Dandara development off Countesswells Road.
A public consultation was held last month on a revised layout being considered by the firm to include a larger number of smaller, more affordable properties.
