An Aberdeen road will close for two days for cable installation work.
Shielhill Road will close at 7am on Saturday for work to be carried out by SSE.
The road won’t be reopened until 6am on Monday morning.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services at Aberdeen City Council, said: The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Shielhill Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Leuchlands Road and the access to Shielhill Concrete Plant.
“The measure is necessary to protect public safety during cable installation works by SSE.
“An alternative route is available via the B999 Tarves Road, Ellon Road, Parkway, and Scotstown Road.”
