A BUSY Aberdeen road has reopened after part of it was shut for almost four hours following a crash.
Motorists are facing delays this morning after a car collided with a set of traffic lights at the Lang Stracht’s junction with the A944 Aberdeen to Kingswells road.
The incident happened at around 4.30am and the city-bound lane of the road was closed for almost four hours following the collision, which involved a Mini Cooper, while Aberdeen City Council cleared oil from the carriageway.
The road reopened at 8.20am this morning but traffic is currently backed up to the Tesco roundabout at Westhill.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “It appears that there has been no injuries sustained as a result of the collision.”
