Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeen this morning.
Malcolm Road in Peterculter was blocked following the two-vehicle collision.
The crash, which happened at 8am, saw two people taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The two cars involved, a Volkswagen and a Citroen, both ended up off the road and were extensively damaged.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We responded with two ambulances and a paramedic response unit.
“We conveyed two patients to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“At the moment we do not have the age or sex of the patients.”
The road was blocked to traffic between Westhill from Peterculter, with police, ambulance and fire crews on the carriageway.
