An Aberdeen pub is set for a £120,000 upgrade as part of plans by Heineken’s leasing brand.
The White Cockade in Torry is among 14 of the 260 pubs across Scotland owned by Star Pubs and Bars earmarked for “major transformational refurbishments” this year, at a total cost of £4.4 million.
Work to transform on Oscar Road pub is due to start soon.
Star operations director Mick Howard, pictured, said: “We will be redecorating throughout and upgrading the pub with a fantastic new look to make it more comfortable and welcoming for customers.
“Work will be starting in the next couple of weeks.”
