An Aberdeen park will be hosting a yarn bombing event next month.
Friends of Westfield Park has organised the colourful session to help brighten up an area of the park in Bridge of Don.
A section of the green space has been reserved for the project, which will see colourful pieces of knitting and crochet used as a form of street art.
There will also be the opportunity to have a picnic in the park as part of the event.
The group previously put out an appeal for members of the public to get involved with the project by donating spare wool or completed pieces to be used.
It is still encouraging people to donate finished pieces, which can be handed in to the Bridge of Don Library until June 30.
The event will run from 11am until 2pm on July 9.
Anyone who is interested in attending the yarn bombing and lending a hand is asked to meet at the Alex Collie car park, where the group will walk along to the area.
