Aberdeen is the most expensive city for students in Scotland to live in, according to a new report.
Student discount service Unidays has published research into the cost of living for students across the UK – and Aberdeen ranks eighth.
Around 2,000 students were surveyed, coming up with 12 “must haves”, and Aberdeen students would have to fork out £105.74 for a taxi, restaurant meal, the cinema and a gym membership.
A spokeswoman for Aberdeen University said: “The university is surprised to see these results, particularly as the 2018 NatWest student living index found Aberdeen is the 11th most affordable city in the UK and most affordable in Scotland.
“Each of these surveys use different measures to assess affordability.”
