A FAST food restaurant in Aberdeen is set to make almost £100,000 worth of alterations.
McDonald’s Union Street restaurant is to carry out internal work with an estimated cost of £91,000.
The city centre eatery will undergo a significant modernisation.
A McDonald’s spokesman said: “We can confirm that the McDonald’s in Aberdeen city centre will be undergoing a new, exciting transformation in early 2016.
“The major developments which will be made in-store will lay the foundations for current and future changes to the McDonald’s menu and service experience.
“Further information regarding the refurbishment will be revealed nearer the time.”
The changes could include touchscreen kiosks to allow customers to browse the menu and order food.
Tablets built in to tables for kids to play on are also a possibility.
The look and feel of the restaurant will change with a refurbished kitchen area likely to speed things up.
The changes are expected to be finished by February.
