A 42-year-old Aberdeen man appeared in court today after heroin worth more than £200,000 was found in a fire-hit block of flats.
It is understood the drugs were discovered yesterday as firefighters tackled the blaze in Torry.
Around 20 firefighters attended the scene of the tenement blaze on Victoria Road yesterday morning.
Scott Simpson, of Aberdeen, faced a drugs charge at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
He made no plea and was released on bail.
