A man assaulted his partner outside Burger King after “experimenting” with cocaine.
Scott Banks, 22, butted, kicked and struck his partner on the head.
The offence took place outside the fast-food outlet on Union Street, Aberdeen, on April 29.
Depute fiscal Karen Dow told Aberdeen Sheriff Court the incident happened at 12.15am.
Police were requested to attend after the couple were seen on CCTV arguing outside Burger King.

She added: “Police arrived and saw the accused slap the complainer to the face.
“This was captured on CCTV,” she said.
She added that CCTV also showed the accused “kicking and headbutting her”.
When police arrested Banks he was searched and cocaine worth £100 was discovered, the court heard
Banks, of Lewis Road, Aberdeen, pled guilty to assault and possession of cocaine.
Defence agent Liam McAllister described his client’s actions as “utterly disgusting”.
He said that the couple remain together.
“Mr Banks’s behaviour is disgusting,” he said.
“There’s almost a degree of bravado about it.”
He added: “They continue to reside together and there’s been absolutely no issues since.”
Sheriff Margaret Hodge fined Banks £600.
