An Aberdeen hotel has been recognised for food hygiene and safety management.
Malmaison is the latest recipient of an Eat Safe Award which is run by Food Standards Scotland in partnership with Aberdeen City Council.
The awards are open to any business that supplies food directly to consumers.
Convener of the operational delivery committee councillor John Wheeler said: “Our environmental health team works closely with businesses throughout the city and the Eat Safe initiative is a great tool for rewarding those who excel.
“With more than 1,800 eligible businesses in Aberdeen alone, gaining an award is an endorsement for the establishment and a source of assurance for consumers.
“We congratulate Malmaison on their award and all of the businesses that have been recognised to date.
“Each is playing their part in raising the profile of the important issue of food safety in the city.”
