Aberdeen has the second lowest broadband speed in Great Britain.
According to research by uSwitch.com, city residents have to make do with speeds of just 15.6Mbps.
That was the second slowest in the UK of the 42 cities surveyed, and half as quick as the fastest places like Middlesborough.
The study was based on 508,637 consumer speed tests between August 2015 and February 2016.
Aberdeen City Council leader Jenny Laing said the issue is a “priority”.
Chief executive of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Russell Borthwick said they have called for action from all candidates in the upcoming Scottish elections to prioritise the issue.
