Aberdeen fire crews are responding to another fire at the Gramps.

Three appliances, including a specialist forestry unit, were called to the beauty spot at 10.50am this morning.

The appliances, from Altens and Central fire stations, have reported that the fire is currently 50 metres by 50 metres.

Crews are using beaters to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters have been called to the Gramps at least 30 times in the past two weeks, leading to an increase in patrols by Police Scotland of the area.

Despite the number of fires, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has repeatedly said that the fires are not suspicious.
